Softcover booklet with a great line-drawn cover of a bob-haired 1920s homemaker in an apron at her range, with a round radio loudspeaker on the table beside her. About 6 x 8.5 inches. Used condition: covers heavily toned and browned with edge wear and chipping (worst along the spine), scattered stains on the front, two dark marks and scuffs on the back cover, and light spotting inside.

A neat crossover piece of early radio and kitchen history: KDKA, the pioneering Pittsburgh station, ran a radio cooking school and home-service program, and this was its companion cookbook for listeners.
