Original theater photo handout card for Connee Boswell in RKO Radio's Cavalcade of Rhythm "Syncopation" (1942), with a portrait of Boswell on the front. The back introduces "America's Foremost Band Leaders Together For First Time On Screen" and advertises the run at the RKO Prospect, 9th Street and 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, "Now thru Tuesday June 16th." About 2.4 x 3.7 inches. Condition: overall toning and a small dark spot on Boswell's nose on the front.

Band leaders listed on the back: Harry James, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Alvino Rey, Joe Venuti, Charlie Barnet and Jack Jenney (printed "Jack Jenny"), with Jackie Cooper, Bonita Granville and Adolphe Menjou. The associate feature was Edward G. Robinson in "Larceny, Inc."

A nice small piece for big band, swing era, jazz and Boswell Sisters collectors, or for anyone who collects movie heralds and neighborhood theater ephemera.
