Comic linen postcard from Curt Teich's "C.T. Wet Comics" series, number C-80, captioned "Gosh! Things Do Double Here" at top and "I Just Discovered Rover Is Twins" at bottom. A tipsy man in a red hat clings to a lamppost while tilting buildings swirl and a little dog appears doubled. The back is imprinted "Greetings from Newton, Ill." Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches, unposted. Condition: good with light corner and edge wear, mild toning and a few faint marks on the back; no writing.

Back reads "C.T. Wet Comics — 10 Subjects" and "Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C.T. Art-Colortone' Post Card", with the plate code 5A-H1582 on the front. Linen-textured card with the bright colors typical of the series.

A fun piece for collectors of comic and drinking-humor postcards, Curt Teich linens, or Newton and Jasper County, Illinois souvenirs.
