About this piece

Lot of 2 vintage chrome postcards of the Arkansas Ozarks, both distributed by Ozark Post Card Publishers of Monett, Mo., and printed by Curteichcolor, c.1957-1958. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Both are unposted with clean, unwritten backs; light corner wear, and the Bull Shoals card has a small ding on the right edge.

• Lake Norfork Ferry (O.215) - the state-operated free ferry crossing Lake Norfork on Highway 62 and 101 in Northern Arkansas, loaded with period automobiles, with the landing ramp and road signs in the foreground. Ektachrome by Harry L. Hammond. Light corner wear.

• Scenic View of Bull Shoals Dam in the Famed Ozarks (O.116) - the dam on the White River with eight spillways open, as seen from the Overlook. Ektachrome by Brock. Small ding on the right edge, light corner wear.

A nice pair for Arkansas and Ozarks collectors, ferry and river transportation fans, and dam and lake history. See all photos for fronts and backs.
