Antique 1905 school attendance Certificate of Award, "Was Neither Absent Nor Tardy From School during the Month ending March 7, 1905," filled in by hand for Brookville High School and printed "Approved and Awarded at Brookville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania." The pupil's name is handwritten (appears to read Ruby Rosamer), the teacher is signed Hattie McAninch, and it carries the printed signature of R. B. Teitrick, County Superintendent. Pink stock, about 5.6 x 5.4 inches. Condition: good, with a horizontal fold line, light toning and minor edge wear.

Gothic blackletter headings and a printed note at the bottom: "Pupils neither absent nor tardy during the term will be awarded a Term Certificate of Attendance."

A nice small piece of early 1900s Pennsylvania school history, good for Jefferson County genealogy, Brookville local history or education ephemera collections.
