Original 1940s black and white snapshot photograph of a dressed-up couple walking arm in arm down a residential sidewalk, captioned in green ink on the front border "Marge and Johnnie" at top and "Nov 4th 1945" at bottom. She wears a suit with a corsage and he a dark suit with a white boutonniere, so it appears to be a wedding or other special occasion. About 3.6 x 4.1 inches. Used condition with surface scratches and scuffing across the image and light corner wear.

The background shows a tree-lined street with houses, trimmed shrubs and the front of a period automobile parked at the curb. Dated just months after the end of the Second World War, it is a nice homefront-era piece and a good find for anyone researching a Marge and Johnnie in their family tree.
