About this piece
Color printed multi-view postcard titled "Monarchs of New York City," card 80, with three tall panels of the Chrysler Building, the R.C.A. Building and the Empire State Building set against a bold Art Deco sunburst border in orange, yellow and red. Published by Alfred Mainzer, 118 East 28th St., New York 16, N.Y.; number 16366 on the front. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches, divided back reading "Place One Cent Stamp Here." Unposted and unwritten, in clean used condition with light corner wear.
The back caption describes New York as the "Sky-scraper City" with a population of over 7,500,000, naming Radio City, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and the Woolworth Building as some of the tallest buildings in the world.
A striking Art Deco skyscraper design, great for architecture and New York City collectors.
