Antique "A Happy Easter" postcard with a fantasy scene of dressed, upright rabbits on parade: a large rabbit in a blue coat and red cravat carries a basket of colored eggs and an egg-shaped lantern on a pole, followed by smaller rabbits in red and green coats holding egg lanterns. Embossed. Divided back with green "Post Card" printing and stamp box, "Printed in Germany" along the left edge. Standard size, about 5.5 x 3.5 inches. Condition: water/tide staining along the top and left edges of the back and light wear to the front edges; no stamp or postmark.

Addressed in pencil, partly overwritten in ink, to Mary Esther Burton, Salem, Ohio, with "203 Wilson St" written along the bottom. No message, stamp or postmark, so it appears to have been hand delivered.
