Antique embossed Christmas postcard reading "Christmas Happiness Be Yours." A Dutch-style windmill and snow-covered cottages glow against an orange sunset inside a silver Art Nouveau swirl, with embossed sprays of holly and mistletoe at right. Standard size, divided back. Light corner wear with a small bend at the upper right; a pencil signature is written across the bottom of the front; see photos.

Unposted, no stamp. Pencil message on the back from Edith Blackburn to Miss Mary Esther Burton, Salem, O., R.F.D. #5, asking how she likes school and thanking her for a pretty handkerchief. Publisher's B-in-diamond logo with P.C. 224 at lower left.

A pretty winter-scene greeting card from the Golden Age of postcards.
