Vintage white border postcard of St. Mary's Cathedral, Peoria, Ill., view number 34, published by Hartman Bros. News Agency, Peoria, and printed by the E. C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee (card 3172). The hand-colored view shows the red stone Gothic cathedral with its twin spires, rose windows and arched entrances beneath autumn-toned trees and a pink evening sky. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Unposted and clean with light toning and slight corner softness.

The back reads "Published by Hartman Bros. News Agency, Peoria, Ill." and "Natural Color Post Card Made in U.S.A. by E. C. Kropp Co., Milw., Wis." with the ECK Co. stamp box. No writing, stamp or postmark.

A nice Peoria view for collectors of Illinois cities, Catholic cathedrals, or Kropp view cards.
