About this piece

Vintage linen postcard of the Baptist Church, Hopkinsville, Ky., a Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. American Art" card, number 9A836-N, distributed by Thompson's Community Service, 1220 Chickasaw, Paris, Tennessee. The colorful view shows the stone Gothic church with its tall corner tower and green spire, stained-glass windows and arched entrance, with shade trees and a flower-lined iron fence under a pink and blue sky. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Unposted and clean with light toning and slight corner softness.

The back is printed "Post Card" with a "Place Stamp Here" box and the Curteich and distributor imprints. No message, stamp or postmark.

A nice Christian County, Kentucky view for collectors of Kentucky towns, Baptist church history, or Curteich linens.
