About this piece

Vintage white border postcard captioned "First M. E. Church, Meyersdale, Pa." The color view shows the red stone church with its pinnacled bell tower, large stained glass window, ivy-covered walls and a second tower at right, with a neighboring house and porch flower boxes at left. Published by I. Robbins & Son, Pittsburgh, Pa. (IRAS Superior Quality brand, no. 93), printed as C.T. American Art, card A-101456. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Very good used condition: unposted and clean, with only light corner wear.

The back is divided, with "This space for writing messages" and "This space for address only," and a stamp box listing one cent for the United States, possessions, Cuba, Canada and Mexico and two cents foreign. No stamp, postmark, message or address.

A bright small-town Pennsylvania church view for Methodist, Somerset County or Pennsylvania collectors.
