About this piece

Vintage white-border postcard captioned "Memorial (Presbyterian) Church, St. Augustine, Fla.", showing the domed Venetian-style church with its red tile roofs, ornate towers and rose windows behind a row of palmettos and a low coquina-style wall. Published by W.J. Harris Co., St. Augustine, Fla., made in U.S.A. by Curt Teich ("C.T. American Art"), number A-13537. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Good unused condition with yellow staining spots on the lower left of the back and light corner wear; the picture side is clean.

The back reads: "Memorial (Presbyterian) Church erected by Mr. Henry M. Flagler, conservating [sic] his daughter." Unposted with a stamp box noting domestic one cent and foreign two cents.

A nice Gilded Age landmark of the Flagler era, for St. Augustine, Florida and Presbyterian church collectors.
