Vintage black-and-white promotional photograph of John Lowenstein, outfielder for the Cleveland Indians, shown reaching up with his glove against a stadium backdrop. Printed caption at the bottom reads "JOHN LOWENSTEIN" and "CLEVELAND INDIANS." Measures approximately 5.5 x 7.5 inches, appears to date to the 1970s based on the uniform style and print stock. Condition is used, with a chip and small tear at the upper right corner, a vertical crease through the center, light overall toning, and faint show-through of printing on the blank reverse.

This type of team-issued player photo was distributed as fan mail or promotional material during Lowenstein's time with the Cleveland Indians organization in the early-to-mid 1970s, before his later platoon-player success with the Baltimore Orioles.

A nice piece for Cleveland Indians or vintage baseball photo collectors, sold as shown with the flaws noted above.
