Vintage 1956 advertising blotter from Shaw-Barton/Gerlach-Barklow of Coshocton, Ohio, part of their "Automemories" series. Front panel features a color illustration of a 1923 H.C.S. automobile with the caption: "This wire-wheeled beauty boasts a brake test horsepower of 80 at 2850 r.p.m. Wheel base is 126 inches. It has a 'one-man' top and a one-piece ventilating windshield. (Courtesy of Mr. Joseph C. Antrim, Dayton, Ohio.)" The reverse promotes "Advertising and Sales Promotion" services — calendar advertising, specialties (leather, playing cards, glassware), permanent business cards, door openers, business acknowledgments, direct mail, and end-of-year greetings — issued by Al Mancini, representing Shaw-Barton Gerlach-Barklow, with his New Jersey office listed at 6 South Harrison at Main, East Orange, New Jersey, and residence at 38 Norman Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey.
