About this piece
Lot of five original vintage black-and-white U.S. Air Force personnel photographs, believed to date from the 1970s and associated with a military assignment in South Korea. Each photograph has a typed identification label naming the service member and position.
Included are:
SSgt. Rod Hess — Chief, Equipment Management
SSgt. Bob Ihrig — Computer Operator
SMS Jack Wenger — NCOIC, Data Automation
Lt. Pat Harrington — Chief, Data Automation
Lt. Col. Kraft — Comptroller
The photographs appear to have been produced for an official personnel directory, organizational display, base publication, or public-affairs purpose. An interesting group documenting early military data-automation and administrative personnel during the Cold War era.
Each photo is 5" x 4"
These photos were purchased from the estate sale of Col. Patricia Jane Harrington (one of the photographed).
Original period photographs, not modern reproductions. Photographs show expected age-related wear, including light surface marks, minor discoloration, handling wear, and possible residue or toning around the attached identification labels. Please review all photographs carefully for condition and exact contents.
