About this piece

Radio Stars and Stations booklet issued by RCA Radiotrons, copyright 1933 RCA Radiotron Co., Inc., Form No. 223, with a 15 cent cover price. Measures about 6 x 8.2 inches, about 36 pages per the contents. Shows cover toning, edge and spine wear, and a heavy pencil tally of city names on the back cover.

Star profiles include Jack Benny, Ben Bernie, Eddie Cantor, Bing Crosby, Morton Downey, Jessica Dragonette, Ruth Etting, Guy Lombardo, Phillips Lord, Singin' Sam, Kate Smith, the Street Singer, Rudy Vallee and Paul Whiteman. Also has NBC and CBS network station lists, US and Canadian stations by call letters, kilocycles and city, principal short-wave stations of the world, police radio stations, foreign broadcasting stations, a radio program guide and a radio time map of the United States.

Inside front cover is an RCA Radiotron tube ad, Quality Guarded at Every Step. The back cover carries a dealer imprint for Kuntz Electric Co., 215 North Ave., Millvale, Pa., with the store's telephone number printed. The colorful cover art shows a grinning man in a matador costume.

A great piece of golden-age radio and tube-dealer advertising.
