Die-cut paperboard advertising sun visor for Dan's Lumber Co., Route 19, with a McMurray telephone exchange printed. Measures about 8.1 x 4.7 inches. Teal star-and-bubble pattern with the ad in a tan panel, "Bend" fold guides, elastic cord and staples. Shows rusted staples, small edge nicks and soiling on the plain back.

The word exchange in the phone listing suggests it appears to be from about the 1940s–50s. The elastic cord is still attached at both ends, and a small printer's mark sits at the bottom of the ad panel.

A fun piece of small-town lumber yard and hardware advertising, and a neat give-away form that rarely survived being worn.
