Original black and white photograph of the Weir High School Varsity Band of Weirton, West Virginia, posed in full uniform with plumed shakos in front of the Community Center, with sousaphones, bass drums, flags, majorettes, drum majors and directors, and a fringed banner reading "Weir High School Varsity Band, Weirton, West Virginia." About 7 x 4.5 inches. Sharp image; light corner wear and a few small surface marks.

The uniforms, hairstyles and building style suggest the 1950s to early 1960s.

A great piece for Weir High alumni, Weirton and Hancock County history, and marching band collectors.
