About this piece

Two vintage Pittsburgh visitor pieces, both aimed at conventioneers.

• Pittsburgh "Renaissance City of America" fold-out brochure from the Pittsburgh Convention & Visitors Bureau, Jenkins Arcade, printed in blue with an aerial view of the Point and panels showing the Civic Arena, Mellon Square, Duquesne Incline, Three Rivers Art Festival, Phipps Conservatory, the Pitt Cathedral of Learning and Carnegie-Mellon University. About 3.9 x 8.5 inches folded.
• "How to Speak Pittsburghese" compiled and edited by Sam McCool, copyright 1981 by Goodwill Industries of Pittsburgh, "A guide for Conventioneers" with a "Dahntahn" skyline cover and Renaissance 2 booster-sticker ads on the back. About 4.4 x 6.9 inches.

Both in good used condition with light wear; the booklet has a small spot inside.

A fun pair for Pittsburgh natives, yinzers and city-history collectors.
