An original vintage color photograph of a young U.S. Army soldier in the Army green Class A uniform and service cap with eagle cap badge and "U.S." collar disc, posed in front of an American flag and a globe — the classic basic training graduation portrait. A small number plate reading 29122 (printed in reverse) sits at the bottom of the frame. About 2.8 x 3.8 inches. Condition: color has shifted warm, with light surface wear and a few small marks; the soldier is unidentified.

The print and uniform style appear to date to the 1970s. A nice piece for Vietnam-era and Cold War Army photo collectors, or for anyone assembling a military portrait group.
