A small original 1943 snapshot photograph of a smiling young man in a dark peaked cap and dark coat with a round pin or button on the lapel, seated indoors in front of tall paned windows. The back is inscribed in pencil "Robert Wolf 1943." About 2.1 x 2.3 inches. Condition: a white ink "6" is written at lower right of the image, the back carries reddish album-paper residue from being mounted, and there is light surface wear.

The cap and coat suggest a uniform, but no unit, branch insignia or place can be read in the photograph, so it is offered as identified by name and date only. A good piece for Wolf family genealogy or a home-front and WWII-era snapshot collection.
