Back marked "Series B. No. 24" with a small arrow-and-letter publisher logo. Standard size (about 5.5 x 3.5 in), divided back with a "Place Stamp Here" box. Used, with light edge and corner wear and a faint pencil name on the front.

Addressed in pencil to Mary Esther Burton, Salem, Ohio, R.F.D. 5, with the message "A Merry Christmas, Annie Burton." No stamp or postmark, so it was likely hand delivered or mailed in an envelope. "Annie" is also penciled faintly below the greeting on the front.
