An early embossed greeting postcard reading "With Very Best Wishes," featuring a large red rose with buds on a long green stem inside a cream panel, framed by a gold border trimmed with a vine of small pink roses. Standard size, about 5.5 x 3.5 inches, with a divided back. Used condition with light corner and edge wear, a small crease/scuff near the lower right corner, a faint pencil inscription on the front, and pencil names on the back.

The back is hand-addressed in pencil to Mary Esther Burton, with "Esther Burton" also written on the message side. A faint pencil note at the bottom of the front appears to read "Grandma B." No stamp or postmark, so it appears to have been hand-delivered. Printed "No 20 New." at the lower left of the back; no publisher name.
