About this piece
Museum reproduction art card from the National Gallery of Art, Washington, showing Frank Stella's colorful cut-out relief Jarama II, 1982. The back is printed: No. 2861/1982.35.1 Jarama II, 1982; Frank Stella (b.1936); 3.199 x 2.539 x 0.628 m (126 x 100 x 24 1/2 in.); Gift of Lila Acheson Wallace; National Gallery of Art, Washington. Measures about 4.2 x 5.8 inches. The color front is clean and bright; the plain back has brown stains and dark smudge marks.
The front shows the full painted relief — tangled red, green, yellow and blue forms with scribbled and patterned surfaces — photographed against a tan wall. The back has no postcard address lines, only the museum caption in the lower left.
A nice piece for Frank Stella collectors, modern art fans, or anyone collecting National Gallery of Art museum shop paper.
