Two 1963 weekly bulletins from St. Paulinus Catholic parish, 622 Delaware Avenue, Clairton, Pa., Rev. James A. Connelly, Pastor, and Rev. Thomas A. Lakomy, Assistant. Dated September 1, 1963 (orange paper) and September 15, 1963 (green paper), each about 8.4 x 14 inches, printed both sides. Condition: used, with fold lines, edge wear, light toning and some fading and staining, heavier on the orange issue; text legible throughout.

The fronts list the week's Masses with the names of the deceased and the families who requested them, altar boy schedules, banns of matrimony, bingo, the Usher Club raffle, choir and card-party news, Holy Name Society and Ozanam School notices. The backs carry long "Two Dollar a Sunday Club" and "Dollar a Sunday Club" donor lists naming hundreds of parishioners, many Italian, Slovak and other Eastern European family names such as Agostini, Capocciama, Cassinelli, Macioce, Rascati, Sanutelli and Wiktorowski.

A genuine genealogy resource for Clairton and Mon Valley families, and a nice slice of 1960s Catholic parish life in a steel town.
