About this piece

Antique printed postcard captioned "President Roosevelt's Church, Washington, D.C. - Grace Reformed Church." A sepia-toned view of the Gothic stone church on a winter day, with bare trees and snow along the walk. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches, divided back, unused. Condition is good for its age with light corner and edge wear; a previous owner added "Teddy" and "(Dutch)" in ink on the front caption, and a pencil note on the back.

The back reads "Publ. by Foster & Reynolds, 1 Madison Avenue, New York. Made in Germany," with card number 100 G, and a printed note: "Grace (Dutch Reformed) Church is the church attended by President Roosevelt." The stamp box calls for one cent postage within the United States.

A nice piece for collectors of Theodore Roosevelt items, presidential history, Washington DC views and church postcards.
