About this piece
Real photo postcard captioned in the negative "Ev-Luth. St. Paulus Church, Gaylord, Minn." with a partial number at right, showing the white frame church with its tall steeple, round window and arched belfry among bare trees, with houses beside it. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches, vertical view. Unused; shows light corner wear, faint album-corner toning outlines on the back, and a pencil scribble near the stamp box, see photos.
The back has an AZO stamp box with triangles in all four corners, a paper type generally dated about 1904 to 1918, with "Correspondence Here" and "Name and Address Here" on a divided back.
A good small-town Minnesota church view for collectors of Sibley County, Lutheran and German-American church history, and Minnesota real photo postcards.
