Vintage linen postcard captioned "10 - First Baptist Church, Tampa, Fla.", showing the columned classical church with its red dome and lantern at a street corner, with "First Baptist Church" carved over the entrance and neighboring buildings alongside. Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Art-Colortone" card, distributed by Hillsboro News Co., Tampa, Fla. Standard size, about 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Good used condition with machine cancel lines across the sky, light corner wear and a small pencil "1.00" on the back.

Postally used: Plant City, Fla. machine cancel Sep 2, 1942, 4:30 PM, with a green 1 cent Statue of Liberty "For Defense" stamp. The pencil message is headed "Plant City, Fla., Sept. 2, 1942, Dear Friend" and mentions a short trip, enjoying herself and going to the Gulf for a couple of days; signed Mrs. Pittman. Addressed to Mrs. Lucy C. Shover, 2016 W. 12th Ave., Gary, Ind.
