The hand-tinted image shows an early 20th-century street scene with storefronts along Sycamore Street, including the Lavenstein's sign prominently on the left building, a horse-drawn wagon loaded with crates, pedestrians, and streetcar/trolley tracks running down the center of the street. Storefront signage including "Jackson" and other partially legible business names is visible along the right side of the street.
