About this piece
Lot of 8 color snapshots, 3.5x5 inches, each with a 1974 photo-lab date stamp on the border, documenting the interior of a private residence, likely USAF officer's on- or off-base housing. Images show a 1970s living room from multiple angles (tufted cream and white sofas, chrome floor lamp with glass globes, teal draped curtains, wood-and-glass coffee table, mirrored and wood stereo cabinets, wall-mounted air conditioner, china cabinet with displayed plates, and wall-mounted shield emblems suggesting a military household), a round dining table set with candlesticks and fabric/wallpaper swatches apparently being reviewed for redecorating, and two close-up views of an antique curio cabinet filled with an international doll collection in ethnic costumes. Strong period decor content: chandeliers, floral upholstery, chrome accents, and stereo equipment give a vivid snapshot of mid-1970s American domestic style. All photos are in color with consistent date-stamped borders; condition is generally good with minor age-typical fading and slight color shift; please examine scans closely for any creases or handling wear. Associated with the estate of USAF Col. Patricia Jane Harrington. Sold as a themed lot documenting a single household in 1974. Please review photos for condition.
